I am Rosario Del Nero, Bertucci’s Executive Chef.

I have spent the last few decades sharing my passion for great-tasting food with my family and friends at Bertucci’s, and now I am thrilled to join forces with Antinori—one of Italy’s premier winemakers—in bringing you signature food and wine experiences from the north, center, and south of the Italian peninsula.

Bertucci’s food culture is solidly rooted in the timeless art of brick-oven cooking. That’s why we are delighted to take you with us on a culinary “Tour of Italy” through the taste and textures of nine new iconic pizzas, paired perfectly with elite Italian wines from Antinori.

You will find that the deep aromas of cherry and plum of Prunotto’s Barbera are a perfect match for the rich and complex flavors of Northern Italy like prosciutto, preserved figs and Gorgonzola. Santa Cristina Chianti Superiore and Antinori’s legendary Chianti Classico from Tuscany complement our handcrafted polpette and fire-roasted zucchini. The bold flavors of Tomaresca’s Apulian wine Neprica match the robust spices of our Calabrese sausage pizza. For Venetian shrimp or luscious burrata cheese, Antinori’s Tuscan White Blend is pure magic!

From Northern Italy:

Fig-Prosciutto-Zola Pizza – The foundation of this pizza is a combination of Pecorino Romano and Gorgonzola cheese mixed with fresh cream and fig preserves. After the pizza is baked, we immediately top it with thinly sliced Italian prosciutto and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.

Shrimp Bella Venezia Pizza – Inspired by the waterways of Venice, this pizza features a base of mozzarella and Pecorino Romano with lemon pepper cream and is finished with shrimp and marinated plum tomatoes. If you’re a seafood-lover looking for a unique take on our classic brick oven pizza, this is the choice for you!

Chicken Marengo Pizza – This savory pizza features a traditional homemade tomato sauce with mozzarella and Pecorino Romano cheeses. It is topped with roasted sweet peppers and chicken marinated with fresh Italian herbs and spices.

From Central Italy:

Fire-Roasted Zucchini Pizza – This vegetarian brick oven pizza features cream sauce and our signature blend of mozzarella and Pecorino Romano cheeses. Topped with fire-roasted zucchini and fragrant fresh basil. Vegetarians take note: this pizza is deliziosa!

Tucci Polpette Pizza – This pizza showcases our exclusive hand-rolled meatballs. Other toppings include carefully-sourced plum tomatoes, fire-roasted mushrooms, onions and peppers. After baking, the pizza is topped with freshly shaved Pecorino Romano and a sprinkling of fresh parsley. If you enjoy robust flavors, the Tucci Polpette pizza is for you.

Quattro Formaggi Pizza – “Quattro formaggi” means “four cheeses” in Italian, making this vegetarian pizza the ideal choice for anyone who loves cheese. Featuring Pecorino Romano, Asiago, mozzarella, provolone, and ricotta and seasoned with fresh oregano, this option packs a flavorful punch.

From Southern Italy:

Burrata Bruschetta Pizza – Another vegetarian pizza, this one features a blend of Pecorino Romano, mozzarella and basil pesto. After it is baked, we top it with marinated diced plum tomatoes, large pieces of creamy burrata cheese and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

Spicy Calabrese Pizza – This pizza features many classic Italian flavors: Homemade meat sauce, Pecorino Romano, fresh mozzarella and deliciously seasoned Italian sausage, cherry peppers, and fresh oregano.

Melanzana Pizza – Melanzana means eggplant in Italian. This Sicilian-inspired pizza features our signature plum tomato sauce, Pecorino Romano and fresh mozzarella. It is topped with fire-roasted eggplant and redolent fresh oregano leaves.
